We recognize Swedens most successful companies
Sweden needs growth and Sweden's entrepreneurs need inspiration, practical knowledge and good role models. That is why Dagens industri appoints the fastest growing companies in Sweden as Gasell companies. We have been doing this since the year 2000.
The Gasell survey ranks Sweden's most successful companies in 21 counties. The survey is based on the company's four most recent annual reports. Less than 1 percent of Sweden's limited companies meet the requirements to be called Gasell companies. In order to be appointed Gasell, the company must meet all the criteria. We also make an overall assessment of the company where additional parameters that show sound operations are taken into account. A Gasell Company has: -Net sales that exceed SEK 10 million, according to the latest annual report. -At least ten employees, according to the latest annual report. -At least doubled its turnover, if you compare the first and most recent financial year in the four-year survey period. -Increased its turnover every year for the past three years. -A positive overall operating profit for the last four financial years. -In essence, grown organically, not through acquisitions or mergers. - Healthy finances.

ARE YOU A GASELL COMPANY?
Di Gasell is found throughout the country as well as the Gasell entrepreneurs. We appoint the Swedish business community's champion in growth in 21 counties. We produce Sweden's largest survey that provides answers to what characterizes Sweden's most successful companies. Dagens industry journalists cover the Gasell companies all year round. The term Gasell was coined by the American scientist David Birch. A Gasell company is a small, fast-growing company and as Birch showed as early as the 1980s, it is these companies that create most of the new jobs, unlike large companies that constantly have to become more efficient and often reduce employment.
